Before I was a running coach, I spent 9 years working as a data analyst at a public safety consulting company in Indianapolis, IN.  I have since started to balance working full time and my passion for running while raising my 2 daughters.  My running journey began for fun in 1995, my freshman year at Purdue. I have since completed thirty marathons, including Boston seven times and one virtual Boston (2020).  My personal best time (3:14) was achieved in Richmond (2021) at the age of forty-four.  I recently got certified as a VDOT coach in 2021, and I also got my RRCA coaching certification in October of 2019. I like coaching because I can share my love of running and help other runners achieve their goals.   Running is something that I'm very passionate about.  Along with my running background, I will use my statistics knowledge to help create a training program that works best for you.  I am excited to be with you every step of the way:  to help answer questions, challenge you and most of all encourage you to become a better runner.
